Summary
Our week 3 competition was a tough cookie for our team to crack. After our 12 qualifying matches (6-6-0) our team was ranked 18th and was second pick for the 6th alliance. With this we played with 5676, The H.E.R.O.E.S., and 1481, The Riveters. With this alliance, we were able to make it to the Finals, until we were eliminated by the 1st alliance. After the game we had the honor of winning the FIRST Impact Award. Also, one of our team members, Sayan S., became a semi-finalist for the FIRST Leadership Award. Now we are working hard and ready to improve and adapt in our next Qualifier and are excited to present at the FIRST in Michigan District Championship.

Week 4 Mason District Event
Summary
At the Week 4 Mason Event, our team continued the success we had from our Week 3 Jackson performance, ranking 10th after the qualification round (7-5-0). We were proud to be selected as the 1st pick of Alliance 5 alongside teams #4327 and #10606, and together we fought hard through the playoff bracket, unfortunately being eliminated during playoff match #6. Despite our loss in the playoff matches, we were very grateful to have won the Excellence in Engineering Award.

Week 7 Michigan State Championships
Summary
Our State's competition wasn't quite the result we'd hoped for. However, compared to our previous competitions, our robot performed much better and achieved a better EPA. Although our robot still had various technical issues throughout the competition, we ended on a win (6-6). Unfortunately, during alliance selection, we were not picked and were one place away from being a backup robot. Despite these issues, we were able to win the Judges' award for our Inovations in the first community. We took what we learned from the competition and plan to use it to encourage greater participation and tenacity in next year's competition. However ending a relatively high note our impact team was able to win the coveted judge's award and our teamate Sayan Shah will be going to Houston to represent us as leadership award finalist.
